A curated list of the best Thai language learning resources on the internet.
Alif Silpachai’s YouTube channel: A mix of useful information on Tai languages. Alif usually goes a bit deeper and/or finds more interesting perspectives than the average Thai language school YouTube video.
Thai-language.com: This resource has been 15 years in the making and contains thousands of dictionary entries, sample clauses, audio clips, images and forums.
A woman learning Thai … and some men too: Useful collection of resources covering texts, grammars, teachers, schools and free learning resources.
New Heart New World: A YouTube channel featuring a large collection of short videos (average length about 5 minutes) presenting monologues in Thai, mostly with English subtitles.
Thai Language Videos: A random collection of short internet videos curated by yours truly on a Facebook page. I have deemed the videos to be useful in some way for Thai language learners. Topics tend to reflect my own interests but any good quality bilingual (Thai/English) videos are included. If Facebook and YouTube are good for anything it is language learning!
