BUSH RAISIN

DESCRIPTION
The bush raisin is a small bush about 30cm high. It has got lots of branches. The leaves are green, brown and grey and the fruit is yellow and brown. It has purple flowers. The bush raisin is fire dependent (it needs fire to regenerate and grow properly).

HABITAT
The bush raisin nomally lives in sandy spinifex country, sand hills and sandy mulga woodlands.

COLLECTING AND EATING
You eat the fruit. You can collect it by picking it off the plant. Dried fruits were often ground into a paste before eating or rolled into balls that were dried and stored for long periods.
