DESCRIPTION
An emu is a bird about 2 metres high. It has lots of feathers and it can run fast because it has long legs. Its feathers are black, grey and purple. It's very cheeky when you tease it or steal its eggs. It will peck you when the emu catches you because its angry.

HABITAT
It normally lives in the woodland habitat.

HUNTING AND COOKING
To catch an emu you have to sneak up to it quietly. If it hears you it will run away. Emus have very good hearing. To kill it you need a gun. First you have to line it up and pull the trigger slowly. When you have killed it you have to pluck it by hand. Cut its guts out, dig a hole, chuck the body in the hole. Let it burn for about half an hour while you cook the guts on another little fire.
