Welcome to the Our Bush Tucker Website, researched and written by indigenous students in Years 5 and 6 at Larapinta Primary School in Alice Springs, in Australia's Northern Territory. Here you can find information about many of the plants and animals of Central Australia and how they are used as wild foods by the indigenous people of the Alice Springs region of Central Australia.
On this website you can also find information about the climate, geography and indigenous languages of Central Australia, and read real-life stories about collecting and hunting for bush foods.
